Thanks so much. Its nice to hear words like contrast in comments rather than just "purdy"!

I like this one, too.
I have this feeling that if it were in b&w, it would be more lonely, you know?

I know what you mean, in colour it keeps a bit of warmth.

Let me just ask one thing. 18-70 or 18-55?
And, do hotspots appear on the modded camera?

This was with an 18-55. As far as I know hotspots are down to the lense and not the camera so it would be a yes if the lense produced them. I belive it is down the the coating on the actually optics being thinner in the middle on some lenses.

but 18-55 is free of hotspotting at any aperture? If yes, I'll get one (sooner or later).

It will depend on what 18-55 you get. Mine is the standard Nikon kit lense and seems to be fine.

What do you mean by 'what 18-55'? There's an updated version of this lens (18-55 II - selling with D40 and D40x) - is that different in this aspect?

What I meant was what manufacturer i.e. you could be getting a sigma, tamron or nikon etc. If your buying Nikon then I would think it will be fine, after all, mine is the lense I got with a D50.

That looks so interesting with the green swing set in there. I didn't expect that green.

It was originally blue because of the nature of the shot but it didnt look right so I changed it.

The color combination and the contrast look beautiful together.
