oi, so I tried my best to get the markings to look like that of the bird in the picture but there were marks already on the drawing and I wasn't sure if those were markings or shadings so I incorporated them in lightly, I do hope I haven't butchered it ;o; PLEASE if I've got something wrong, let me know. I'd feel much better.
and gosh, despite my lack of experience when it comes to avian creatures, I do hope you like how this came out ;3;

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee fluff Nay it turned out lovely (I know I say this a lot but that's because you tend to make things turn out lovely). I'm sorry I gave such vague directions on how he looks. I've seen him since I was little, but I just recently tried to draw him, so the details are a bit vague to me too (seems this happens a lot to me). But I like how you colored him 
Also Griffdoll is a amazingly cute word. I officially named him Vaas a short while ago but that wouldn't be as cute
