Redux version of this painting from a year ago:Β Β I feel like I have improved so rapidly with digital art since then, so I wanted to put it to the test and redo this piece of artwork which was very successful back in April 2017. I REALLY like both, but it's still SO cool to see your progress from last year! I especially like how you decided to change your sources of light, because I do think the new one's is much better visually than the old one! AWESOME work!

Yeah, that's one key thing I changed. I wanted to have the figure pop more against the background, so I made the background lighter and the figure more like a silhouette. If you reduce both images to thumbnail size, I think the new one reads a lot better.
