This is the 128th piece in my Industrial Heart collection, entitled, Icy Hot.Each of my Industrial Hearts starts with an anatomically correct human heart made from polymer clay - the base. With all of the components of a real human heart, it has also been made to look metallic and Industrial with its panelling and rivets. Gears, metal findings, and other various things are also added.
The entire piece is about 1 1/2" tall and is antiqued with black acrylics and then finished with a satin glaze for a slight metal sheen. It has a loop in the top that is attached to a keyring style jumpring and is strung on an 18" silver tone link chain with lobster clasp.
This heart was meant to reflect the owners bipolar personality with its "hot and cold" colour combination. Icy cold steel at the bottom, and red hot at the top. It's a "well oiled" machine that has been broken down and fixed many times, but is still running just fine...
