I haven't been doing much sculpting lately, but I've been playing with my chainmaille. It's a sideline of Monster Kookies that I like to call Blackmaille.This is a gauntlet style bracelet that I made for myself, and it has a loop at the point of the scales that wraps around the middle finger and the bracelet fastens at the wrist. I made it with brushed natural aluminum, black, and gold toned anodized aluminum scales with brass, bronze, and bright aluminum jump rings.

Brilliant craftsmanship. It looks meticulously created. Is the scaled portion rigid? How's wrist movement?

Thank-you! The scales sit very nicely, so it's rigid enough but not too rigid that I can't move my hand - they stay put even when I move my hand up and down or point towards the ceiling. Since the scalemaille portion only covers the hand, the wrist movement isn't really affected as the chainmaille bracelet portion is the only part on the wrist. I definitely wanted to be able to still use my hand and wrist, which is why I built it the way I did.

This one is fairly well, still trying to find work but it's not so easy, specially sense i know what i WANT to do but it's not the easiest thing to get into right now.
besides that being fairly well, fairly good health, nice family, loveing girlfriend ^^ need to get back into doing art though.

I hear ya on the creating thing. I haven't sculpted in quite a while, but I am always making something out of something, whether it be baking, cooking, sculpting, chainmaille, or some other random art project.
