Day 21, just 10 more to go! I was down at our local Scout camping facility on Thursday night whilst my son was on a service night, so I took advantage of good weather and being in the countryside to have a walk. When the sun went to bed the sky broke into beautiful shades of pink, orange and heather, very pretty, so I thought I'd try and replicate it. Measuring 8 X 8.5cm, painted on the Langton 300gsm rough paper, started with Faber Castell Albrecht Durer watercolour pencils for intensity of colour, and using my Aqauafine watercolour pocket set and blobs of cerulean blue and China white on gold Taklon brushes. Silhouetted in Windsor & Newton black Indian ink.
