Prelude/extra for my stables storyline… Leading up to RDHS 2023

Ochacca was more than ready for this show. In fact, she didn’t mind the sweltering heat and humidity or the sweat constantly dripping down her back. Ok maybe the sweat was a little annoying but she wouldn’t let it show. She and Kim had spent months preparing for this show and Occa knew they were going to do well. All she needed was to get a better score in the normal class versus Deku in his subtop. In case there was a tie, they had come up with an alternate agreement but Occa wasn’t concerned about it in the slightest.
Even though this was her first dressage show with Kim, Occa knew they would smash whatever score her brother received. Deku had shown Mammon before in other dressage shows but never in an advanced class. She knew he was nervous about the higher level and it filled her with joy. Occa couldn’t believe he had agreed to their bargain either. What a silly boy, he obviously wasn’t ready. Ochacca knew how to push him when it was convenient for her. It wasn’t that she loathed her brother, it was more of a soft hate. And wasn’t it her job as his younger sister to constantly give him a hard time?
Thienna hadn’t been happy about their deal but agreed to read for Occa nonetheless. Ochacca had even offered to buy Thienna reader’s attire but she had declined. It didn’t really matter to Occa but it would have been nice to have matched. Sometimes people could be so inconsiderate but Occa tried not to grumble too much about it. Overall, she was grateful it was a friend who was her reader and surprisingly Tagnera had wanted to come to watch the show too. Ochacca couldn’t remember a time when so many people from Chevalier-Dream Stables had come to a show at the same time. Well she had plans for all of them during her AUS trials coming up. She would need all the help she could get with that so they better be ready for another trip.
Hearing her name being called Ochacca headed towards the show ring. It was time for her to focus as she took in a long breath and exhaled. Confidence radiated from her as started her and Kim’s dressage debut.
