Wow, that's a beautiful shot. I love the yellow glow in the sky at the end of the train tracks. The only thing I wish is that the border wasn't black, and maybe white. It overpowers some of the fine detail and contrast. BUT STILL SWEET.

PS. Tip for the future: when doing a composition like this, it's really best to just have that convergence point in the middle of the frame (at least horizontally). That way, the viewer doesn't feel like he/she needs to lean to the side to get the whole picture.

lol..nope, this was taken on my way home from work during a sandstorm....that's all Indian Res out there. No buildings, but there is debris around the tracks...makes it look like a building though.

To me, it's like the rails lead you through wasteland, and into the light.
The path may be rough, but the light at the end of the track indicates hope and joy.

I really appreciate the feedback...really pick out the things that others may overlook, don't ya...especially the crosses. Granted, when I took the shot, they were just telephone posts, but when I started working on it in post, I thought of the cross as a symbol of dying daily or things that we have to overcomes...even ourselves. I also thought of the lighting...giving a sense to hope. As opposed to the tracks leading into darkness.

Yeah, I tried to get a shot of the tracks lined up, but it wouldn't happen. I sort of like them a little "off" though. I did another shot that is similar to this one and the tracks are dead straight.
