Description Oookay, commission number 2 of the summer is finally finished!

This was quite a challenge. I'm not used to drawing dogs, and with this one I didn't actually have a solid single reference picture to work on that had both dogs in it. Soo it took a lot of working with the client to figure this one out. Even then, I am SUPER happy with the result. There were many points along the way where I thought things were going horribly wrong, but by the end it all really came together.

A few notes: The German Shepherd has three legs, I did not forget one. She is also smaller than the lab, thus the size difference (which was approved by the client before I even transferred things to the watercolor paper).

16x20"

Onto the next commission~

Very impressive, watercolors can be very difficult to maneuver!

Thank you! And yes, they can be a little tricky. I like the variety of colors I can get with them, though.

The colors ARE wonderful, watercolors are my favorites.

They have really weaseled their way into being my favorites too! I used to be totally pastels if I wanted something in color, but the dust is so annoying now that watercolors are an option, haha.
