A cloud descended upon us one morning.[a little tampering in Photoshop, but not as much as you might think]

Thanks! Yes, it was *unbelievably* thick and tangible. Very wet too. I like to think it was a low cloud (this was taken on quite a high mountain), but some have argued that that's the same as fog. Anyway...

Like I say over there, I've tried to make it the same, but yet again I don't remember exactly what I did. Someone (possibly you?) once told me that Photoshop kept a record of everything you've done to make a picture, and I had saved this one so I thought I'd be fine, but alas. This History thing is apparently wiped whenever you close a file. Do you know of any way of saving that info? It's a bit of a pity to lose that, for someone with a memory like mine...

Oh wow, I just love it! I love how some trees are closer and darker through the fog. And the bright bright! green makes the photo really awesome. Nice job

Thank you so much! Yes, I like the variation in shades of grey due to distance too. It was something I consciously tried to include, to make the fog a bit more tangible. And yes, when I saw it I thought the green was quite striking too (even if it has been enhanced somewhat here). Well, I'm very glad you liked it and thanks a lot for the fav!
