Description
A new Rotom form that takes the form of the new Pokedex. Seems a little odd, but at least it talks!As for the rest of the trailer..well.... They didn't show any other new Pokemon, but I'm really confused with Solgaleo's typing.

I think Rotom Pokedex is quite adorable.
There is some explanation of Solgaleo's type. Solgaleo is based off an alchemy symbol of certain types of fine metals. The symbol is a lion who ate the sun.

Yeah, I've been reading similar theories about that too. It still is weird to me that the Pokemon that represents the sun is weak to fire.

I honestly found the trailer to be kind of disappointing... Though I am interested in what role Lillie would play in the story.
Also, it's a bit ironic that the Sun Pokemon is weak to fire and the moon Pokemon is 4 times weak to dark

I love that they made a Pokedex specifically for a Rotom to possess. And one that even let's it talk to you. I was kind of confused by Lunala's typing; I expected part fairy, since fairy is so often associated the moon.

Songaleo's typing definitely is an odd choice
idk which of these two would be better tbh though, its hard to decide in a sense
but this new rotom definitely seems cool, meaning that there is a chance that the 7th gen anime will have a new talking pokemon in rotom

I'll have to remember if steel still resists ghost or not, but if not then that means both these pokes are screwed around ghost types, and possibly even dark too (i'd look it up but i'm busy with uploading the remainder of my cosplay photos)

Steel no longer resists Dark and Steel from gen6 onwards. So essentially, if Solgaleo battled Lunaala, it would be screwed.

yea lunaala seems like the stronger one, especially with it's ability. but it also has a 4x weakness to ghost and dark if i recall right.

Yep. If something had Sucker Punch or Shadow Sneak, it probably won't live without it's ability, which seems to be Multiscale with a fancier name.

yea. these two probably won't be seen too much in competitive scenes unless they have good stats, when it comes to legendaries that is...

I have little doubt they could still end up being be very powerful and instant Ubers, although Giratina, Yveltal, and Darkrai could spell some trouble for both of them.
