[Stephen and Moon are naturally embarrassed for the upcoming Ball, but for two completely different reasons.

Stephen is taking Alice, and is wondering if this is technically a date or not. so he's wondering the usual stuff "Was bringing the flowers a bad idea? this suit is okay right? is my tie crooked?" Moon is laughing at is spaz attack....

While having one of her own. Moon is very self conscious about her body and is currently freaking out that you can see her bare arms and legs. She considers her scars completely hideous, and hates that people can see them. However this is the only dress she owns and she is too lack of girly things to cover her arms and legs with anything else. So you not only get to see her freckles and "battle scars", but also those wonderful gismos she rigs herself up with to be able to pull her whip or a knife out from under her sleeve, or hide blade points in the backs on her elbows.
they're straps and the knife is spring loaded so it bounces into her palm when she figures it right. the whip is a series of hooks and coils that immediately tighten or loosen when snagged around her whip and with enough force.
