I'm going through the parts where they first introduce the trolls, who I'm guessing are a really huge part of the storyline from then on (gah, Tumblr XD). and I'm kind of confused here because EVERYTHING IS DYING AND/OR WANTS TO KILL SOMEONE ELSE and there are so many backstories, it's hard to keep track of all the trolls. ^^' and I've heard that "[S] Jade: wake up" is a really traumatizing flash. >.>

Pretty much all the flashes from now on are traumatizing O.o
HOWEVER the trolls are such an immensly huge part of everything that you will soon get them straight :3
Also, be super careful on Tumblr, SPOILERS GALORE!
Yeah, the killing thing can be a little confusing, but eventually... Well, basically the recaps are your best friend. xD
Those get fewer as you progress, but it'll be a little easier to understand, too.

That's awesome to hear; I'll be bringing along 2 boxes of tissues the next time I read Homestuck ^^
and yeah, the re-caps have helped a lot. But they're always bloody long, and take me maybe 20 minutes to read through one! But I don't mind, as long as I can get the story straight XD
But as for the fandom, I tend to stay away from that in terms of Homestuck... not because of spoilers, but it's always one argument after another, fights over ships and whether Hussie is a rascist biotch. I say to just enjoy the webcomic; after all, there is only act 7 left!
And I've seen a little dose of future Homestuck art, like the half-scary half-enlightenng Trickster Mode, though I'm not sure what that is yet.
