I like the colors of this painting. I must point out that this is less a painting of Baphomet and more a painting of Satan construed as Baphomet.

It was on request. The painting was a gift to the customer's husband. The guy call himself satanist, and also likes the Baphomet figure in visual representations. So it was personalized for him that way.

I see. It's worth noting that it's still the same Baphomet, no satanic alterations to the design whatsoever. Thus this is still Baphomet the symbol of the unity of opposites. I wonder then, what it might mean to place this Baphomet in an ostensibly hellish or demonic setting.

It meaned the salary for me, as a full-time artist working on request, which I was at that times. Only thing that matters for me is the visual side, using the technique, the colors, composing the painting etc. The same thing, if you work in an office and try to do your best at your job. Myself being an atheist and believing in science, don't really care about the ideology, Baphomet and Satan are fictional characters for me like Batman or Freddy Krueger. So, in my point of view, free interpretation is allowed if the visual side is ok. Also respecting your opinion and views.

A színek még a szkenner torzítása ellenére is nagyon szépnek látszanak, a kompozíció mozgalmasságától csak úgy árad az energia a képből, nagyon tetszik! Kívánok még sok ilyen megrendelést, mármint ami témában nem áll távol tőled
