The night was pitch black, apart from the dim glow of a single torchlight hidden deep within the maze like forest. The glow faintly lit up two minecrafter’s faces sitting around the flame. One had curly black hair and dark eyes and wearing a golden and purple pendant. The other wearing a low v-neck suit and deep red shades covering his emotionless expression. They had lost so many that night, neither wanted to talk about what had happened today or for that matter neither wanted to talk at all.

Many noble characters had fallen that night. Deadlox (also known as Ty) was slashed in the neck by the mighty blade of Herobrine while protecting his beloved dead army. ChimneySwift was blown up while escaping from Herobrine’s mansion with his loyal followers, the swifters. TrueMU (also known as Jason) was shot on the heart by an un-known sender while blocking the shot meaning to hit Skydoesminecraft. Caveman died while protecting his dwellers from the great demon bird attack of 2013. HuskeyMudkipz drowned due to being dragged to the bottom of the ocean by a devious squid army recruit. Finally the bravest of them all, Skydoesminecraft risked his life saving his friends and his over 1 million sky army recruits from the evil squid army attack on the sky army budder base. All these heroes died in the hands of evil, protecting their friends. Now only two remained, fighting for survival against the cruel world of Minecraftia.

“So many died tonight, why them and not us?!” asked the one wearing the gold pendant.
“I don’t know Ant, I really don’t,” replied the one with the shades.
“Come on Sparklez we better get some sleep,” stated AntVenom. Sparklez nodded his head and lay down on the soft mossy floor. Ant walked up to Sparklez’s side and knelt next to him. He quietly whispered in his ear. “Everything is going to be ok, at least we have each other,” Ant said with a faint smile. Sparklez stared into Ant’s dark eyes, giving him a soft grin. Ant leaned in slowly and gently kissed Sparklez on the lips. After a few seconds Ant pulled away. “Never leave me Ant!” Sparklez said worriedly.
“It’s ok Sparklez I won’t,” Ant exclaimed. Ant lay down on his patch of moss and looked up into the star filled night sky.

Sparklez lay there deep in thought, thinking about how they could have saved their friends and not watch them die right in front of them. He swiftly removed his shades revealing his light blue eyes. Then he softly wandered into a deep sleep. On the other hand Ant lay awake, unable to fall to sleep. He reached to his chest and grasped his pendant, this reminded him so much of Sky. A single tear rolled down his face. Sky was his best friend and less then one hour ago Sky died in Ant’s arms trusting Ant with his recruits knowing he would do anything to protect them from danger. Ant’s eyes started to well up fast. All he wanted to do is curl up and die but he knew he had to protect CaptainSparklez with all of his life! He didn’t want to lose the one he loved.
