This photo was taken on Squirrel Mountain, a ten minute walk from my house, and then a twenty minute hike to the top.

The view from the top, of course, is quite amazing. However, as there was too much folliage, I have waited until autumn to take any shots from the top for DA.

As for this photo, Jess and I were wandering on one of the many paths that make up the labyrinth of the mountain (never go alone) and we were just lost in the beauty of how enormous everything is there. The paths never end (I'm serious. We were on one path for 3 hours) the trees are gigantic, and everything just seems larger than life, and untouched.

At this particular moment, Jessica was mentioning how nice it was to not know where we headed; to not know what to expect.
We were watching the clouds roll through the trees right then, but when i snapped this there weren't really too many to see.

I normally don't do this - but the story of the photo had to be told.
