Here's a thief. yup. Actually, he's a char of mine but he's supposed to be much younger. Then, a friend of mine wanted to see him older so here he is. I dunno whether to add a background or not...Related content

I think it is really does not matter if you put a background behind him. It is a full-drawn character in itself. If you put something
behind then it changes to a full-painting. I think at least... 
Everything is well-drawn, the pose is very dynamic (fits a thief).
You know, I always praise and then point out what is strange for me: those are the muscles. Nonetheless a 5 minute work would
fix them fully. The hand with the knife has a bit strange triceps. The one and only line what is not the outline of the arm should go "downwards" (to the direction of the elbow) I think and not upwards to the direction of the shoulder. The other hand's biceps a bit too far from the shoulder I think and
maybe the elbow should be seen a bit (partially).
But I am not naturally right. It is only my opinion.

Hey, thanks! Yea your suggestions really make sense. Unfortunately, the stupid program which I drew this with is not cooperating so I guess this'll have to do. However, I'll be sure to ask you about anatomy and stuff the next time I draw one of these characters.

I don't think you should, however I gladly help. The whole thief is nearly flawless in anatomy. All measurements (head, torso, legs, arms) are just
fine. The two upper arm what looked a bit strange for me, but that is not much at all.
I am not a teacher or anything and I don't want to be one, I just have my opinion that can be wrong though.
Moreover If ever I could draw manga I would draw manga...
