Yeah, I am!! I've never played, never even rolled a character before. So I'd probably need a patient DM and group that doesn't mind helping along a brand new newbie, lol. I do the know the basics of how a game goes from watching people play online, and I have a set of dice. I don't have a player's handbook but I believe there are digital versions online.
And yes, I would be interested in playing digitally! Skype should work...sometimes it gives my laptop trouble, but I'm trying to fix that. I'd be open to playing any class that would help balance out the party. c:

You're welcome!
Sounds great though! I haven't really rolled a character before either, but this guy agreed to show the ropes of playing when we were discussing if we wanted to open a D&D campaign. He'd be playing as a DM, then, and maybe even play as a supportive character on the sidelines to make sure our party would survive. Besides, he's really chill, so I think we'll learn without pressure! And the good thing about RPG campaigns like these is that new people can join in over time, if need be. Also, the basic rule handbooks that go for levels 1-20 are free, as I just found out, but I think he has some sorta more advanced handbook too, since he's played before. So now, all we have to do is wait for his answer, I already alerted him that you want to join our campaign.
I don't have a good set of dice, but fortunately, digital dice are lifesavers. And if Skype generally works for you, we should have minimal trouble.
