For some reason whenever I hear Something about us by Daft Punk, makes me think of Bali and Ruslan. Bali was unsure of their relationship, because to her believing him would mean she believed his ideas of soulmates. And to her sounded too much like a fairytale which she gave up believing in a long time ago.

Gotta admire Ruslan's determination and patience, he still believed even after he though he went off soul searching he promised to come if she called. And he still loved her despite her belief she didn't deserve it.
