Experiment to get rid of my artblock. Slapped a filter on it in PS to make it look less crappy. Not sure if it helped haha. I quite like the atmosphere, though. I want spring/summer already ;w;Feel I should've drawn her in a more interesting angle, but nope. MAYBE NEXT TIME!

Very intressting you were doing some expriments with the colouring. The lineart seems very sketchy to me but maybe it was suppose to be like that. The thing I can imagie to give it more lives is to dark the shadows in the hair. And afterall the hair goes down to the grass so it would be more dark turquoise more in the green way. But anyways you did a great job! love it!

You already know my opinion. It's great to see you experimenting with a new technique and I hope you'll continue this. In addition to my suggestion (heavier contrasts) might I add one thing: You may want to show she's lying down by having her hair fall in a very distinct way. It starts at the top of her head (duh) and then will lay on the grass (imagine a blanket, if you will) delivering 2 layers. The bottom one and the one where her hair starts. If you use a darker shade for the lower layer of hair you can easily create the illusion of her hair actually lying there.

How long did it take you to finish this? Just want to know because I want to speed up my drawing process, too. You don't have to tell if you don't want to, of course.

Hard to say since I split up the work over many days. All together maybe 1 day? That's fast for me, but kind of embarrassing considering the result has so many flaws XD I still like it enough to upload it, though.
