Post-apocalyptic scene are often portrayed as dark, unlivable and, of course, full of zombies. I just love when it's portrayed more calmly, with nature replacing the lack of life humans left.

Also, well deserved DD!

My favorite thing about this picture is the portal. I just think it's wonderful and I like how you made it so the background inside of it was wavered. You also put in a lot of details which I liked as well. It's a cool picture

I actually picked up and read through both books after I saw your work featured as a DD, and I think your depiction really captures what the books should be about. I find the actual plot of each book to be rather hard to swallow because they contain so many logical oversights and lack realism, however.

I have to say I really like your work here though, I wish the latter novel had taken the time to really spell out the desolation the characters were confronted with, to really convey the absolute decay of civilization like you have shown here - where undergrowth emerges from every nook and cranny.

ho well, you just have to read it as good pieces of fun and action and I think it succeeds very well in that matter

i have seen in a dream the city of leeds in england like this when i was a teenager. little did i know i would be living there now! i havent had the dream again but it left me with a profound reminder that mankind is not eternal nor nessecarily wise.
i really love your work, brilliantly realistic and inspirational.
