Description A coat ... of arms!
One that every Playmobil fan and every person who has visited Nürnberg (Germany) knows!!

I bet some of you now have a puzzled expression, so I'm going to explain: this is the Coat of Arms of the city of Nürnberg, in Germany... Just next to the city of Nürnberg, you can find the village of Zirndorf, where Playmobils were invented (their headquarters are still there)... When the first Playmobils were created, there were sets with knights... so they had to have a coat of arms, of course... and the creator of Playmobil decided to give his toys the Nürnberg coat of arms!! That's why all the old sets with knights have these colors!

Hubby and I have discovered Nürnberg thanks to Playmobil (we wanted to see the Headquarters and the Playmobil funpark) and we've fallen in love with the city... it's so amazingly beautiful, with a very rich medieval history, a wonderful atmosphere and gorgeous buildings!! So we've gone there 5 times (twice for the Christmas Market, the oldest in all Europe) and plan to go there a lot of times if we can!

Here is a photo of old Playmobils with the Nürnberg coat of arms: www.klickypedia.com/sets/3291-…
Here is one of my feel-good videos, a flash-mob in the middle of Nürnberg that I sometimes watch when I'm a bit down... it always cheers me up! (and you can admire the city in the first seconds of the video): www.youtube.com/watch?v=a23945…

Made with:
- Pelikan Drawing Ink
- Faber Castell Pitt markers (Black: XS, S, F)
- Edding 1200 metallic marker (gold, red) and a random yellow pen for the claws and beak

A happy, happy day to you all!!

dommage... mais si tu veux que les gens ne touchent pas les drapeaux, c'est soit en haut, soit en vitrine :S
