You have no idea how much he grinded to afford that ring. It got to the point where the Elite Four would just look at him and say "here's some money, go away." He also made up for the lame proposal by taking her to the Orange Islands for their honeymoon. Like I said, a LOT of grinding.

I put them in Pokemon Go clothes cos WHY NOT. Ash is Valor and Misty is Mystic, of course. They have an ongoing war over who owns the Pokemon Go gym in front of Cerulean Gym. The score is currently tied.

This is actually how a friend of mine's husband proposed to her. After hearing it, all I could think of was "Ash would absolutely do that". Combine it with a cool picture I found on Facebook, and boom, comic. Also this reminded me of how much fun colored pencils are. I might start doing more comics with colored pencils, or at least backgrounds. And while the fifth panel is my favorite because pretty, the ones that always crack me up are the twelfth and thirteenth. I had a lot of fun drawing those expressions.
