That's Shep getting Garrus tatoo if I'm right?

I really hope the act of a human wearing a turian tattoo isn't a taboo for turians? There are some cultures (for instance, the indigenous New Zealanders,) that have high cultural views on facial tattoos (signs of beauty, signs of an adult, symbols that represent specific things). If another person with no New Zealander heritage was to get a New Zealander facial tattoo, and wore it in public in New Zealand, it would be a major cultural offense to indigenous New Zealanders.
I would surmise there is similar importance held with turians (a 'bare-faced' turian is not trustworthy, as he holds no outward signs of belonging to a clan or colony.)

I imagine it is taboo, since there is still high tension and racism between turians and humans. But my Shepard doesn't give a flying care about that, she's doing it for Garrus and to show the universe that she simply doesn't respect social constructs that could inevitably doom a disconnected galaxy in the war with the Reapers.

They aren't together, at least my Shepard's not 'with' Garrus. She also has a tattoo of Tali's veil markings over her arm, Wrex's Urdnot Clan insignia, a Drell prayer, and various other nits and pieces. Its mostly a sign of loyalty and partnership that goes deeper than sex.
