So at first, this was an experiment to see if the "rumors" that wetting down your watercolor paper before using it make the colors blend differently/better, but it ended up being a "Have-a-better-week,-Kat" present xD
It's kind of like a short, fat bookmark with an adorable Daisuke on it!!
I will be doing another one of these for my friends; with Dark on it :3
BTW; painting the paper with water first doesn't really do anything. At all. Just makes it really wrinkly O_O Maybe it's just me...or the type of paper I have o.0

Umm, about the water thingy, this tutorial says to spray the back to prevent buckling. No exactly sure what that means, but here~

What I was taught was that you are supposed to water the paper, and then design the background on top of that, and then let it dry, and then go back and draw the foreground (with lots of thick colors to make it cover the background.)
at least that's what I remember...
um what else..... whenever I did it, I made it too wet and made holes in my artXD

the paper thing...I never tried...I figure It'd run that way more =_= I hate when it runs!...but hmm my watercolour paper is cheep (really hence its horrible texture O_O)...and sorta rases a little when wet...not wrinkle thankfully!
But anyways I love him and *gasp* oooo one day I will have him maybe

And you really shouldn't even bother trying it; I probably have the same cheap-o watercolor paper xD tyour lucky yours doesn't wrinkle though! And someday you might if I decided to be nice enough xD haha
