Description
Ashburn told me to try to merge my creature drawings with mechanical parts (like Clive Barker toys). Um, this is the closest that i could get (for now, hehe
). I have another concept and its a lot more um, bloody (morbid) than this one. Think i'll upload the concept sketch in my scraps in the future.Chalk pastle and 2B .05 mechanical pencil

Very cool, I love the tones of colour, the imagination, composition, basically everything about this peice ecxept I feel that a background something other than white would've done it justice

firstly:
ugh, I envy your skills in both colouring and drawing.
secondly, I mostly like the 'realistic' folds in this guys skin, especially under his eye (nice touch with the no iris no pupil combo by the way), the affect of the folded skin is awesome, and brilliant, all of the words that mean brilliant and then some, although I was a bit put off by the teeth slightly. Don't get me wrong, the teeth are over all great; although the inscissors - i hope i spelt that correctly - to me, seemed like they did not have an other side, and are completely flat. Perhaps some grooves in the tops of the teeth (not by the gums - geez, I hope I make sence) would help to make them not look so flat? The canines, are absoloutely fine, I love the canines, it's just the inscissors.
Now then, third part of this comment... I love the way you made the lower lip look cracked and dried. It gives an extra notch to the picture, at least, to me, that he has been held in captivity for a long time, and he is suffering (sorry if that was not the angle you were hoping for, it's just the way that I see it); though the lip looks different to the rest of the skin, more artificial, but that gives it a very good dried up colourless look, so no criticism on the lip.
I really do like the pipes and the green 'goo' of sorts, and it yet again, gives me a feeling that he has been experimented with, and he had been forced into a 'lab rat' posistion. The green jello goo, I quite like, and some people would say that it looked quite solid, and not quite 'liquidy', though if you look properly at this marvelous picture, the goo in all glass tubes are translucent, and it gives the whole thing a veery good affect.
Sorry about the terribly long comment, and I don't mean to offend you by any points that I made (if they offend you, then I am most sorry).
