This is a very nice take on the idea of turning something cute into something horrendous with an amusing appeal. What you've done is good and the way you've worked with the animation of the face and body movement of the tentacles really adds to the finished design. What's really appealing here though is the simplicity of colours and choice is textures, it demonstrates that you sometimes don't need tremendous amounts of features of visual effects to allow something to have such a strong appeal. There really is a lot of charm here and just the overall simplicity that can be seen really says alot for it, it also demonstrates how your skills have greatly improved and taht you really have a knack for this style of drawing.

Thanks man, I'm still trying to develop this CG coloring thing. Since I just got a Pen Tablet (Graphire 4), it would be a waste not to use it haha.
This was a bit rushed though, same goes for the previous 2 creatures (the land and flying creatures), it was all done in one day, then to be presented to the kids the day after (workshop).
