The Redwing Thrush (Turdus iliacus) is a thrush that breeds across much of Eurasia. It is also known in English dialects as throstle or mavis.

Thanks... yes, actually he was on a rowan where his nest was. he was very talkative... I think he was on guard each time he saw me, maybe his way to inform others of my presence... he could stop calling out...
