Well they are not living in the rowan tree; however, they love to come and eat the rowan berries They come and go actually!

That's a really BIG bird. Or maybe he just looks big because the picture is so up-close. Either way, great shot.

Well it is a big bird Joseph! and i am not that close because they are extremely shy... they fly in very noisy flocks and they are eating the rowan berries of my rowan in big flocks so each time I am trying to capture them from my window with a telelens, they sense the motion and fly in flocks but return eventually (lots of patience is needed)... so all in all it is extremely difficult to capture those birds

Wow, sounds like a lot of work to snag a picture of these guys. I bet it was all worth it in the end.

Lots of patience needed... some photographers need to hide in camouflage tents to get a glimpse on those guys
