This reminds me slightly of traditional asian art. Maybe a geisha? I love the green, green is my fav. colour XP and I admit to having a fascination with ink splatters. I'm entirely too fond of them. But you say this is a collage? Using dyed newspaper. That's really good, I don't think I could get that level of control or shading in a collage. The non-whiteness gives it a grungy look too, and I could almost see autumn in this. Or perhaps a forest. Anyway. I REALLY like it. ^^

it's lots and lots of little bits of newspaper so I could stick them all together to get the shapes I wanted. I had a very rough sketch on another piece of paper so I had the idea of what I wanted her to look like. And I love ink splatters and grungy stuff too XD

Beautiful. I especially like how dirty/messy it looks.
The only issue I have is that she has no neck. Or is she bowing her head a bit?

I was working freehand with the bits of newspaper so it was difficult to place bits, twas more just an experiment in college but I liked it so Its here now XD
