I love the burst planet/moon idea. The sharpness gives it body, almost soul. Like they've been there for a few billion years, but not long enough to have had a larg amount of 'space weathering'. The flare is awesome, with the colors. This inspires me to start writing yet another story.... Awesome! Now if only it would give me the big picture...

Very nice lighting here with the red. The asteroids look good like that. Great job

I'd like to start off by saying you've really captured an amazing scene here. The warmth coming from the picture is awesome...

Your use of rocks were a nice touch, though there is a little too much to be honest. If the rocks were really that dense you'd have a nice obvious ring around the planet. Looking at the image i can tell that you may have tried making one, but there is no dust or form. It seems they're going around the planet but aren't circular and too far apart.

The planets are very nice too, great detail on the large one. And the flare is also well made.

I think i'm going to give this image a fav anyway because you have an imagination and you've done a nice job on the picture

I know but I didn't want a "neat" ring around the planet, because i wanted it to look a little bit chaotic, orderless .
I had in mind that this could be fragments of a just bursted planet or something and they begin to form a circle around this planet now ..

warmth is exactly that i wanted to create .. I'm really glad it works

thanks for fav

very, very nice. my only problem that hasn't already been stated is that the stars seem to uniform. i can see direct lines of them, and i don't know if that's realistic or not. you do have some nice variations in smaller areas, but i like it with a little more. very noce, a fav from this zergling!

well , i like if starfields form lines, bows , circles .. don't know why .. it makes it more interesting in my eyes

I like it a lot, personally. I don't have any problem with lack of detail

I like the choice of colors, and how they all are warm and fit together nicely. I am impressed.

thanks

(btw .. this bow with blue and green on the planet is another mistake i made with a lens flare effect .. i did this fast and unconcentrated before i uploaded it .. )
*removing it*

Well well, what do we have here?
One of the first things I noticed was the warm and moody usage of colours around the sun. They're neatly picked, although there should be a smoother transition between the left and the right side(yellow/red -> green).
The asteroids adds depth to the whole thing. That's good, however, they are a bit too sharp edged. At some places, they add a dirty look to the image, which is not good. Smoothing the edges will help.
As for the planets, I could've wished for more variation in the sizes. They look too similar, and that's not good for the depth. Also, there are some places around in the starfield where I see some spots which doesn't belong there at all (above the flare and a bit to the left). I suggest you did something with them.
The big planet has some strange bow which contains blue. I suggest you remove that, it doesn't look good, and it ruins the spherized look too.
The title isn't too bad, although the text layer behind the main one is too evident. Try lowering it's opacity, and remove that line which belongs nowhere.

Summary: a decent piece with great potential, but which lacks the last touch of detailing. Sorry for being so honest

first of all : big thanks for the critical comment .. i really appreciate that

when i created the asteroids , i wanted them to be really sharp , just like shrapnels from a bursted planet. Well , i don't know if it's just a metter of taste but i like them

i completely agree with you: the sizes of the planet are too similar! I see that.. I played around with moving the moons .. but i could not decide how to place them..
The Starfield .. do you mean the stars just next to the flare (yellow area) ? They should not be there , because of the brightness of the flare , right ?

well , when i update the picture , i'll remember all your suggestions ,that's for sure, thanks
