I got so sad after making New Girl : [link] Cuz’ everyone was angry at my Ariel. I didn’t want people to think that she was a bitch. She’s just exaggerating the jealousy I feel towards all the other Disney princesses who get to be more popular than she. And now people are flinging their disagreement at her. It’s my fault people. I draw the pictures I put the words in their mouths. I made Ariel an über royalist. For my amusement.Any how… after New Girl I decided to make a comic to try to redeem Ariel’s reputation. But as the script for the comic fell in to place the temptation of making her insult everyone just got to strong. I can’t make her nice, I just can’t. I love her so much she has to be sassy and rude, just like I wanna be. So stop blaming her, blame me for the all around rudeness and nasty behaviour. I make her like this cuz I like her the most.
(That is also why Meg is so aloof and Belle is so crazy, cuz I really like them.)

No it just gave them aboost Oliver and C/O really started the upward spiral. who framed roger rabid continued it. The little mermaid sealed the deal. Disney was back. Beauty and the beast blew them so far ahead they could call it a second golden age.

Me: Technically, Ariel, the movie that saved Disney after decades of failures was "The Great Mouse Detective;" had it not been the moderate monetary success that it was, chances are all Disney movies that came after it, including "The Little Mermaid," wouldn't have been made, so if anything, YOU should be down on your sushi knees, kissing Basil of Baker Street's feet.

It helped. it was the start of the second age of disney. the company was living on former glory and she paved way for many of the other princesses which is a very lucrative franchise. it didn't truly save tje company it was one of the starting factors. got Disney back in to people's minds

Well Belle's movie was the first animated film to be nominated for an Oscar - and that was back in the times when there wasn't even an animated category at the Oscars. Ariel's film wasn't even in the running.
lulz, I know it's because you like them. But still...I'm about as crazy for Belle as you are for Ariel. Maybe it would be something for Belle to shove in Ariel's face, only for Ariel to come out with something even better to top it. *shrugs* Still love this series.
