These are the pets of the future, created before the advent of powerful contactless charging. They are half cats, half mechanical creatures.

Their paws and belly are gold-plated. It may not be the best electrical conductor, but it is the least susceptible to oxidation in air.

Their cat whiskers are like wall plugs and they use them to store energy within themselves.

Moreover, they are able to eat like ordinary cats. The socket is at the tip of the tail. Usually cat owners use it as a power bank, but kittens and other similar cats can also use it to get some energy.
