Description
This is a real oldie. I didn't even have a wacom when I painted the original version - I warn you, some of the original parts are still shining through....
And once again many thanks to rL-brushes rL-Brushes (I've learnt how to put links here!!) for letting me use her wonderful brushes!

This must be a scene from the Harry Potter opera, since everyone except Dumbles is facing the audience rather than each other. Harry, being the slightly dim hero, is a tenor, Draco is a trouser role sung by a mezzo-soprano, Severus is a silky bass-baritone, and Dumbledore is a bass. Basses are villains, grandfathers, and God, which pretty much has Dumbles covered. And the two Death Eaters represent an entire DE chorus.
P.S. I've had people get upset when I call their work operatic, but be reassured: any time I compare something to opera (even if I do it snarkily) it is to be understood as a compliment.

Except for the fact that this whole scene took place on top of the tower, outside, on the ramparts, this is an amazing painting of what happened.

WOW! Oh, wow. Wow, wow, wow... (you get the picture.) I love this artwork. Not that I'm happy that he's dead (*sniff!*) as J.K.R. confirmed entirely at Harry Carrie and Garp night (he won't "do a Gandalf"), but this is a beautiful piece of work. And, yes, even though he's really dead, I KNOW Snape has to be good. It would be too easy for her to end it right there. Plus, in interviews, she's said we'd find out where Snape's loyalties truly lie in the 7TH BOOK. If he were really bad, she'd have said we'd find out in the 6th, right? (please? Joe, please?) At least there's enough proof of Snape's innocence in the books, plus the very slight suggestions that he and a certain redhead were at least "friends"... yes. He's "good". At least, better than the rest of the Death Eaters.

Yes, I believe in the "Sev and the certain redhead" theory too .... There is a lot of proof for that in the books (according to me), and I would be quite happy if I were right about it...... 
I don't know what I personally believe when it comes to Sev's loyalities, I feel rather confused about it myself, honestly.... I must admit I have a certain kink for evil wizards....

My dad is convinced Severus is good, pretending to be bad, and that he didn't really kill Dumbledore. That it was a trick in order for him to be safe in hiding. I think my dad is in denial, lol.

Well, personally I don't have a clue..... However, I think it would be bad plotting if he is evil. And that would also mean that the "good side" would have incredibly few competent wizards left in the last book....

Well I have started to believe my dad. It would be a good way to fake his death so he could go into hiding and recooperate until he was better. But I didn't like the 5th or 6th books much so I think Rowling might decide to write things in a way I don't like... she's kind of rushed into writing the books because they don't want the actors to be too old when they make the final movie.

Very beautiful work! I won't repeat what everyone else has said (although all the positive comments are true!!). I think my fav parts are Dumbledore (he rocks!) and all the little details. I am a very lazy artist and can't imagine the time and effort that went into this pic.
