I like the creature, the lighting and the fins. Was this made in painter?

I really like this one. The sunset looks perfect and you get a little scary feeling when you see the seamonster. Gj!

Nice fluid, sketchy lines; the colors blend very well; good job with the translucent effect on the fins; the sunset and the corresponding colors are awesome... very good job!

This picture is very well done and the creature isn't fully exposed, leaving a lot to the imagination.

Wow. I must say, I love this.
It just completely draws me into the picture... like I can hear the water and feel the sun and... stuff.

Gorgeous.

Very cool,
I like the paint effect. A good sence of motion with the spray and motion blur.

oh my gawd.. i've never liked the ocean, even though i don't see it too often.. always been somewhat cautious of what might lurk in those deep dark shadows beneath... i remember i was in a boat, out on the sea, when suddenly a reef turned out from nowhere.. that green underwater mountain that you almost couldn't see scared the heck outta me.. this really reminds me of this incident. your pictures scare me!!

The creature looks like its causing the darkness behind it.

Plus I think I have seen that creature's back before...Castlevania: Symphony of the Night

Still awesome none-the-less! Awesome use of light in this one with the contrast in the colors from deep greens and blues to the oranges and yellows blending perfectly, and the sun is definately almost painful to look at, it's so real! Nice work!

Im just gonna say that... Overlay gradient layers are your friends

I started with a blue sky

Adyon In reply to Morriperkele [2004-11-28 18:59:54 +0000 UTC]

Ah! I see! Wow, that helps a lot actually. I never thought of doing a gradient on overlay...I only did manual lights and stuff! I can see how you did it, and that's cool! I like learning new techniques, though it just means I'm going to have to make a picture so I can play with it! Thanks for the tip!
