"Stray Faction" is a High School DxD fanfiction focusing on the Stray Devil's rebellion against the Devil Faction making them one of the primary antagonists. Just to be clear it's not a crossover with High School DxD with Fate/Type-Moon universe, it's a tad alternate lore in the High School DxD universe with a hint of Fate universe. Jeanne is an Angel human hybrid who hadn't died by the stake at Rouen, France. Making her hundreds of years old, growing to a young woman as she stops aging to her prime as she appears at her early thirties making her more... "mature" with her body, especially in her breast area.

Jeanne d'Arc was once one of Heaven Faction generals during the Great War, her authority was equal to the Four Great Seraphs Michael, Gabriel, Uriel, and Raphael, but just below God and Jesus Christ. At some time during the call of ceasefire from both the Devil Faction and the Grigori was called. While she agreed to sew for peace, she didn't like the direction of Heaven Faction was going and Heaven’s passive attitude toward the Devils’, Evil Piece System.

Jeanne was an outspoken critic of the Evil Pece System, excusing the system as a practice of slavery and responsible for the Stray Devil rampage. If a servant ever leaves or in Devils’ terms abandons their master they slowly mutate into monsters and lose their sanity. In fear of breaking the cease-fire, Heaven Faction turns a blind eye to the Devil Faction’s atrocity ignoring Jeanne for taking action.

Distraught and disappointed with Heaven Faction’s actions and other various amoral activities they committed to retaining their power Jeanne left with her husband, Shirou Amakusa. Keeping themselves hidden from the supernatural world including from the Heaven Faction. Throughout the centuries she went into hiding with her husband only intervening in supernatural affairs where she needed the most. At some time, she was pregnant with her son, Gabriel. She and her husband settled in a Japanese village named Hinansho which was on the verge of collapse.

She raised her son Gabriel at Hinansho village while leading the village, making it prosper in the process to the point that it was on the verge of becoming a town, and her in favor of being elected as mayor. That all ended when the village was attacked by one of Jeanne's rivals from the Devil Faction, Abaddon. The two fought while Jeanne tried to protect her son and the villagers at the same time. She ultimately failed as everyone in Hinansho was slaughtered, including her husband and her son dying in her arms as one of his eyes was gauged during the attack. On the verge of death, she uses the last ounce of her power to heal her son and restore one of his eyes. She bids Gabriel a tearful goodbye as she held him, dying during their embrace.
