Mario, take to the skies!This was initially done as a comission for a tatoo. Though the comission didn't hold (For financial reasons), I thought it was a nice design, so I decided to finish it.
11x17 pure digital-Paint Tool Sai+Photoshop CS5

It's really funny, in the New Super Mario Bros Wii when Bowser runs off with Princess Peach, my two year old nephew always screams "Oh Nooooo!!!"

I know that feeling. I've been playing these games for over ten years now. (And I already completed the basic campaign of SMB Wii--the ending is nuts!)

I only played it twice. I haven't gotten it for my Wii yet, and I might not ever, simply because I hardly ever play my wii, due to it not having a VGA adapter to hook up to my computer monitor that I play my Xbox on.

This is very neat. Brightly colored, pleasant looking and a style all your own. It's an abstract composition so there really isn't much to critique. Nicely done.

Normally I don't go quite this colourful, but I was trying to colour faithfully to the Mario franchise, and to be as close to the style as possible at the same time as pushing it to its limit. Or, something like that.
