Yes! Another one done! This is for Flyingfox :3And I must say I thoroughly enjoyed doing this one. Sakuranym is so freaking cute and I LOVE serpentine kind of creatures though I rarely draw them (so sad).
Wish I got more commissions like this ;3;

what fantastic colors! I like your choice of color for shading; it has very smooth and warm feeling!
I think the wing and face is the coolest! I noticed the wing is transparent but you used slightly different color to produce transparency. it seems a bit new to this; now i feel like I learned something new!
I looked at some of your other deviations and they all have fantastic colors..(sorry..i am big fan of COLORSS) it's like...brights colors that never seems to clash.

I love the colors, so much detail! How do you make it look transparent? Ah, you're such a talented artist.

Transparent? :3 um, lesse... well first of all make the place you want to be transparent to be a sort of gradient from a darker colour to lighter colour.
Then you add a new layer, set it to multiply (opacity 30%) and then fill in a shape of what could be happening underneath the transparent object. Just a block shape of colour should be enough. (that's in the case of photoshop) if your colouring by hand you'll just have to work all the lights and darks on one layer. (sorry if that sounded garbled, I'm not the very best at describing techniques)
Yes I work as an illustrator ^_^. Sadly because I just left school and of my country's economy I'm forced to work more as a graphic artist ... I do books and Illustration commisions on my free hours...
