The previous deviation (Halfway There) was primarily driven by my anger (sort of)... This one was conceived in a much more different way!Before I settled on the final pose of the sketch, I did a little experiment: I used music (soundtracks, songs, etc) to be the literal driving force to make me draw the thing itself.
I found myself drawing Splash Woman to the tune of Dethklok's Murmaider (It's about mermaid murder!). It's a different feeling; drawing while your blood is rushing from the heavy rhythms of this metal song...
Aside note: Notice how she looks similar to Fairy Leviathan from MegaMan Zero?
