It's snowing tonight and all I have is a sweatshirt.After drawing ridiculous amounts of lineart week after week after week , I had an intense desire to do something more painterly. Ya know, to focus on values and light instead of lines and shapes. So I did this speedpainting over the course of about 24 hours.

Well, since the lion in this drawing is a comforting presence, and Aslan represents God in the CS Lewis books, maybe in a way it is.

Cummon.... you can't tell me you didn't miss the snow. You should be happy it's back. snuggle up in your blankets with a cup of cocoa and watch your favorite movie. You'll learn to love it again.

lol I was definitely snuggling up in a blanket and a beanie last night. It was very...nostalgic. And I did rather enjoy the benefits of our working furnace.

It's Moth. And she doesn't have a mane. It might be a little confusing since it's a close-up, but the hair around her face is from her ears and neck.

Yeah, it only snowed for a few minutes and it didn't stick. There is definitely plenty on the mountains though.
