Description Another piece for the Dinosaur Ridge thingy. We're telling various stories of discoveries and stories of dinosaurs, and this piece illustrates how the Romans while hunting gold in the Gobi desert ran across bones of an animal that they named the Griffin.

They were of course not a lion bird, but Protoceratops. So I grabbed a skeleton of the Protoceratops as a reference from dinocasts.com (probably not the most accurate, but oh well), and then made a second piece with the Griffin over the proto skeleton.

Kind of a fun project to work on...hopefully I'll get a chance to color these some time.
