Thank you so much!  I did this as a demo with my class and they loved it! For many of them, it was their first pastel painting.

~trulyonetoo   Hahaha! Nice one.

But for me this is an outstanding environment to do the thing I do every year when we got snow

- ANGEL!!

Unfortunately mostly we got lots of mud...

Sometimes I regret I'm not the Shrek...

Well the Snow season is on a countryside yes.
But for sure now he evades a more urbanized areas.
Here's the story:
__________________
Cities was always against the Snow. They discriminate and even eliminate him from the large as possible spaces. One day Snow probably understood the fact that he is not very welcome at the Cities and he finally just stoped arriving leaving some forces on the country side. He just simply give a place to the Mud.
So now the Cities got another problem to solve with another intruder on which they are not prepared properly to fight for the territory.
And i'm telling you, the Mud is a very resistant creature to the same knowledge as the Snow.
Some say that he is just a simple ignorant with a low IQ and even if the Cities brought tanks he wouldn't understand the message.
But I think it's just because he is a really malicious and confident bastard and he clearly realize of his position and even power in the Cities right now. And he probably just couldn't stand the expulsion of the Snow from the Cities, so he knew he is just perfectly made to avenge all repressions on the Snow. It wouldn't be a great surprise when the Mud could have a silent agreement with the Snow.

Unfortunatelly the Cities are loosing. And so are we. And there is no way to please the Snow and bring him back. He just can't forgive so easilly all the pain he suffers through all those years and I supposed this is not his last word with the Mud occupancy. I think he is preparing for something much bigger. Something that will change the face of the Cities for a very long time...
The only hope is still in our gratest winter ally - the Frost. But every time he arrives we can't predict on how he really acts. Does he still be true to the agreement with the Cities?
And sometimes he requires human sacrifice for himself. Despite the whole corruption and inadequacy of an effective actions the Cities are very affraid of the scenario but obviously people have no choice.
I don't want to think about the fact that the Frost could apply an invitation to treat with the Snow which is a very likely after the Cities governments stands before a Seasons Tribunal and announced that they have enough of human victims.
It's a difficult time for the Cities and for us. The conflict grows and we don't know how it will ends. The situatuion is getting worse every day. Hope we will survive till the summer and hope the Cities will refresh a deal with the Sun and Water. This could be suppressed by the statement about human victims which is not in the Waters priorities. We'll see...
