Description Once again, the McDuck family is out solving mysteries. This image is based on a Don Rosa story that was written as a sequel to a Carl Barks original, "The Lost Crown of Genghis Khan." Rosa's story was a two-parter, and the first part ended with Scrooge trading the treasure of the week for the old cloth found in the chest with the treasure. As it turns out, that cloth was the clan McDuck tartan, leading Scrooge to conclude that the Templar treasure he'd traded for it was but a small sampling of what his family had been hiding for millennia. He took Donald and the triplets straight to Dismal Downs to search Castle McDuck thoroughly for any further clues--and found his estranged sister Matilda first. Over the course of the adventure, Scrooge learns that his father had spent the final years of his life searching for an ancestor's treasure, and had left a series of clues for Scrooge to follow. The adventure eventually leads to Scrooge and Matilda finally reconciling after nearly 25 years apart, and to the discovery of the legendary treasure of the Knights Templar, beneath the old dungeons of the castle.

I wanted to depict that adventure in the style of the new show, as I REALLY hope they do that story at some point. Since in Rosa's lore, the Junior Woodchuck Guidebook is directly tied back to the Templars, Huey would be the triplet helping Scrooge lead the adventure in the 2017 reboot, as he's now the only one of the boys who is still a Junior Woodchuck.
