Last day of Dalek Week!Not sure if I should cheer or cry...
Anyway, this is Alek and Deryn and their two children (aren't
their names Sophie and Alex?), and they're just sort of taking
a stroll after Deryn and Alek come home from work. Nice and
peaceful.
Until wee Alex asks a question he never anticipated the answer to.
Dialogue:Alex: Mommy, did you and Da fall in love at first sight?
Deryn: Well, laddy, it was a squick more complicated than
that between your father and me.
Alex: How is that comp'icated?
Deryn: WELL...
I mean, COME ON, don't tell me you've never thought about
how awkward that would be to tell your kids. "Well, I wasn't
me when I met your Da. I mean, I WAS, but I was a lad, but
not really a lad..." LAWLZ. Awkward Deryn is awkward.
Alright, well, I guess this is it. It's been sweet!

PS: I'M SORRY!!! This was thrown together at the last minute,
so I didn't spend as much time as I normally would on this.

OMG, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT! So cute. and I like the lines of your drawing -- Daryn is very lanky, and Alex's build is nice (you can see his Clanker/Austrian Prince background in his posture). Love the kids, too, and the flow and movement of the art piece. You should have it colored, maybe? Only thing, it's hard to read the text. I'm glad u wrote it on the bottom there.
