I almost never take commissions at this point in time. Once in a blue moon I'll do one on special request, but I'm disabled and simply can't handle commissions on a regular basis.

I had a whole lot of fun making this particular doll, even though it was a lot of work. I live for tiny detail sculpting in projects, time consuming and tedious though it may be. I keep thinking I'll do another one eventually but haven't gotten to it yet. I pretty much just do these for fun.

sculpted with Apoxie Sculpt right over the existing body (though I did remove the breasts with wire cutters so the chest would look flatter once I sculpted over it). The hands are also apoxie, sculpted over wires that I connected to the existing hands, and the scissor handles are parts from safety pins that I bend into shape with pliers.

I don't even know how I missed some of your other stuff. I loved your SH stuff, as well! You're so amazing. Do you just sculpt over the bodies and paint?

usually. sometimes I end up carving into bodies before sculpting, such as with the MH Corpse Bride that I did.

It's really something gorgeous! The best I've seen, to be honest. I have a couple MH dolls, but, I'd not want to mod them. Maybe if I get some starter kits with the make a monster.

That is a good idea. The create-a-monster kits are great for modding, since they're easy to take completely apart when something is in your way. I love working with them!

What sort of clay/sculpting materials would you suggest? And paints, too.

I do most of my doll modding with Apoxie Sculpt. It's a common material for lots of doll modders, so it's pretty easy to find info, other projects, and howto's online.
It's user-friendly, has a decent working time, and is sandable/carvable once it's hardened. It sticks well to plastic, vinyl, and resin, so many fashion doll and bjd modders use it.
(PROTECT YOUR SKIN tho, if you use it. And protect your lungs when you sand it. It's a resin compound, and after using it barehanded for several years, I ended up developing an allergy)

As far as paint goes, I usually just use regular old acrylic paints. For body work, a little light sanding with fine sandpaper first helps the paint adhere better and thus makes it more durable. I also use acrylic varnish.
