how are you getting a negitive that big?

I took a digital photograph, I then took it into photoshop, put it into greyscale and inverted the colors. I then took a high rez image file negative and took it to a blueprint store where they can do large format printing. I had them print out my negative on frosted mylar.
To create the image, I coated a large sheet of paper with cyanotype chemicals and let that dry. I then took the paper and negative out into the sun and lay the negative on top with a piece of plexiglass to hold it down. for about 10 minutes. Then I brought the paper inside and developed it in my bathtub with simple water.
You don't have to have a traditional negative any image on translucent paper will do, You could take any image that you've made and do this to it. or you could draw directly on to the mylar with opaque ink. Cyanotype is sensitive that it will respond to partial opacity (unlike screenprint)
