A slightly different photo than usual of this gorgeous Snake.

You see, this relatively small zoo focusing on Reptiles, Amphibians and Invertabrates only puts a lot of effort in education.

They allow visitors to meet their residents, and of each of the species they're allowed to meet, they have enough individuals that that each get a week respite in between meetings.

Considering how hot it is inside, and it wasn't too warm outside, we were both very warm. The Snake, we were promised, would appreciate our warmth so instead of holding her, she got to lay down in our necks. She was totally relaxed, and it was a lovely experience to relax together.

Species: Royal or Ball Python (Koningspython)

Latin name: Python Regius

Originates from west and central Africa.

Current status: Least Concern
