As I said in my last journal, I’m 10 years on Deviantart already! Oh, the time flies sooo fast…
Well, let’s stop with sentiment: I’ve got a contest for you as a celebration of this anniversary!
Theme is DREAMY ANIMALS. Honestly, I’ll let you decide on your own if your submission fits to the rules or not – I won’t reject any. But in final I’ll be deciding with Erlist and with VillageLucy which ones are the best and you have almost 3 months to take a photo/draw/do a sculpture etc., so you have a plenty time to think about it

Here come rules and, of course, prizes are below as well!

I know that when you really look at this photo, it may seem a bit awkward, yet at the same time, it shows the close bond of this Serval family. They're always quite attentive of one another, and though the kittens like to climb on top of each other to find the best sleeping spot, they'll often let it pass or shove them away like any good sibling woul do - only to lie right on top of them in return

Latin name: Leptailurus Serval

Originiates from Africa.

Current status: Least Concern

Did you know:

…DNA studies have shown that the Serval is closely related to the African Wild Cat, and the Caracal.

…Its long legs make it able for the Serval to achieve a top speed of 80 km/h (50 mph).

…The white spots on the back of the Serval’s ears are called “ocelli” and are used to signal kittens when hunting.
