Where: Texel Zoo Oosterend Texel, The Netherlands
Spectacled Owls are one of our favorites, simply because they all seem to share the same, rather awesome, trait. They will respond to you playing hide-and-seek, especially the ones in this zoo. They will bob their head, and fly with you to find out where you've gone. It's really rather cute

Latin name: Pulsatrix Perspicillata
Originates from South to Central America
Current Status: Least Concern
