I love being able to look back on these photos and see how Frutsel has grown with each visit we made - both in size and character.

Species: Bobcat (Rode lynx)

Latin name: Lynx Rufus

Originates from North America.

Current status: Least Concern

Did you know:

…The Bobcat shares its range with the Canadian Lynx, but is smaller on average, but still about twice as large as a domestic cat.

…They have distinctive black bars on the forelegs, and a black-tipped stubby or “bobbed” tail.

…The Bobcat has been extensively hunted by humans, both for sport and for their fur. They are highly adaptable and though they face threats to their survival, their population is relatively steady.
